I am David Drewette and have been an Oracle programmer for more than 10 years now.

Working now as an Oracle Consultant with my company OraPro Ltd (www.orapro.co.uk) I provide database development services using most Oracle products but specialising in Oracle 11g and Application Express.

The architecture described here in my blog uses the concept of a layered application and demonstrates the idea of “everything in its rightful place”.

To me its like your wardrobe at home. Shirts hanging up,  a sock drawer, tie rack, etc… If everything was just thrown onto the floor in one big heap how would you ever find your favourite clothes??
